Real world storage
Just curious as to which shortbed model has the most storage? I know it seems an oxymoron but can't get a real idea from the web. I also will have a trailer but won't always be traveling with it. J...

Some short bed models, with wings, actually have very good storage.
Both of our SB TC's had wings and large storage compartments. The challenge is, while some have "large" compartments the doors are very small, so you can't get anything big in to the compartment (grills, leveling, blocks, etc).
Our new EC has large compartments with large doors. We can fit a grill and a Honda 2K in one of the compartments...it is huge. The EC also has an 8' lg draw that slides into the basement which is very handy; fishing rods in summer, skis in winter, and a couple of folding bag chairs reside in the all year.
I guess my advice is; while many SB campers have good storage, pay attention to how easy it is to access it.
