I've looked around for my empties scale and I haven't found it but will post if I do. However, I remember the Camper weighed 2250 lbs before I put the a/c on it. The above weight ticket was before the a/c was put on it.

You won't find a lighter 3/4 ton truck. It's a work truck, rubber floor mats, no power windows or locks, or "fluff". Single CD player, single cab, single tank, single rear wheels, single cab :) It does have a/c and cruise control, optional aluminum wheels. But it's a stripper. An I love it that way.

My 2005 F250 diesel extended cab short bed weighed 4500 lbs on the front and 2750 lbs on the rear when empty. I know diesels can be heavy, but that is a light gasoline truck.

With the big increases in GVWR in recent years it would be helpful to know the tare weights also . I suspect the gain in cargo capacity is not as great as the increase in GVWR would indicate .

02 GMC , cab/chassis , dumping alum flatbed , extra fluids , some tools , 20' chain , 2 people + dog , 50 gals fuel . GVWR = 12000 , front = 4800 , rear = 8600

front = 4320
rear = 3960
total = 8280

With camper loaded for bear .

front = 4400
rear = 7220
total = 11620

This is with the wife and I, 1/2 tank of fuel but missing 2 dogs 150 lbs, no food water or drinks and no trailer (600lbs TW)
and it was with our 2000 f350 7.3 Sc 4x4 DRW rated for GVWR 11,200, front GAWR 5200 and rear GAWR 8250

total 11060
front 4900
rear 6160

So loaded we were over our GVWR by about 1000lbs but under our axle and tire ratings.

With our 2015 F350 DRW we won't be anywhere near our ratings, 14000 GVWR , front GAWR 5940 and rear GAWR 9650. We will be weighing it next week trailer and all.
