Ive got the same setup as the OP, I put a lic plate holder on the camper, just under the camper rear light , tied into the wiring for the tail light. The guy who owned the camper before me did not move his lic plate and stated he had no problems with Police officers, I put the holder on the camper just to be on the safe side, I dont want any problems.
