Have had a camper that extends over rear of truck for over 20 years. I got stopped in first year in my home town for a minor offense,no ticket,and officer told me the truck was where the plate belong because that is what is licensed. I took it off the camper and it has stayed there for over 19 years and never been stopped. I went through Colorado toll road and a year later I received a bill from them where they read the plate.
