I'll find out if I get stopped in CA this summer...I'm not moving my plate and my camper has one.
This is also an interesting subject that comes up for people who live in a state that doesn't issue front plates and get stopped in a state that does. You abide by your state rules. Here in Oregon....you can get a ticket for obstructed plate with a TC on...but I think its so common here that LE doesn't enforce it. I'm in LE but I don't work traffic. I'll ask one of the traffic guys next time I see one. I'm curious!
