When I have to pry something against a surface that I don't want to damage I place a thin flat piece of wood or even something like a small cutting board against the fiberglass and then use that to "fulcrum" my pry tool off of.

Well not exactly.
Komfort started in 1966 and was absorbed into Thor Industries in 1993.
A quick search on the wobbly web indicates that Thor Industries continued the Komfort brand up to at least 2017 (I have found some 2017 Komforts for sale).
Besides, Komfort like pretty much ALL RV manufacturers use STANDARD OUTSIDE LIGHTING PRODUCTS.
Typically Bargman brand.
OP, post a photo of your light and I bet someone WILL be able to identify the brand, model and how to remove it.
Most outside lights are puttied down pretty good to the outside skin and may take some work to pry it loose.
