Rear View Camera opinions

I would like to install a wireless rear view camera on my JayFlight 34BSRS. I am considering the Voyager WVOS511 and the Rear View Safety 091406. Both say they are good for 60'. Cost is a HUGE difference. $650 for the Voyager and $250 for the Rear View Safety. Does anyone have any experience with either one?
  • I use a wired system with the camera mounted on the spare tire mount and the monitor on the dash. I would recommend wired over wireless.
  • I have a Garmin 760 with the BC-20 back up camera. Works well
Camera is $135.00 additional extension cable is 35.00
But for $170.00 its a nice addition.
The best thing is that there is no monitor required. Camera image is shown on Garmin GPS display

    Garmin BC -20

I'm sure Sue appreciates that. ;)

    Pictures we need pictures!!!!:B
  • Have the wireless BC20 for my Garmin 760 as well. Just playing around with it, the Garmin was able to pick up the signal almost 300' away. Check your mounting location for spray when traveling in the rain. Where I mounted mine it catches spray so I need to climb the ladder and wipe off the lens if it is raining on the way to our destination before I back into anywhere.
  • Ordered this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017NI18XE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 Pyle PLCMH5 Wireless Rearview Backup Trailer / Hitch Camera, Waterproof Night Vision HD Vehicle Cam

Will let you know. I like the idea that I can stick it on the truck for hitching up and then stick on the back of the TT for backing up.
  • If you want something very simple & wireless take a look at the IBall camera.
Here's the website with a video iBall Camera
    Happy trails,
  • I have a 2015 Silverado with the backup camera option and would like to know if there is a wireless WFI camera that could be mounted on the back of my 2006 Mallard CK180 that would use the monitor and WFI system built into my truck.
