stop thinking, it weakens your team...actually...today's lesson is on blind loyalty and how far it will get you when your truck breaks down..remarkable how the Blue Koolaid Kings resort to attack tactics, personal ones to boot, when they have no facts of their own to argue from...
With all due respect, we have plenty of members that are blindly brand loyal across all Big 3. I think brand loyalty is stupid, because it doesn't reward innovation. No matter how good of a truck brand B or C make, they will only buy brand A. Brand B or C could safely haul 40K lbs, get 35 mpg, seat 15 comfortably, cost $15,000 new fully loaded, have the nicest interior, widest selection of colors, the best brakes, run flat tires with a 200K mile life expectancy, etc etc and the brand loyal idiots will still buy brand A because that is "their brand".
Every time I need a new vehicle, I research them all. I narrow them down to ones that meet my needs. I price them all out. I test drive them all. I compare options and costs and buy the best truck for the best price in my needs. I've owned a Ford, now I own a Toyota. If I bought a new truck today it would be a Ram.

well said and I absolutely agree...having been a zealot, but a non-basher of competing brands, I know the pitfalls of blind loyalty to any of the manufacturers...It appears the KoolAid crew has assigned my current brand loyalty to GM...and like their misguided thoughts that they could never be screwed by Big Blue, they would be mostly wrong...
Let me digress...I currently own a 2006 Chevy LBZ Dually...a fine truck for it's day...many owners of all the various brands will agree that in a used HD Diesel pickup it is a fine choice, maybe even the Gold standard...there are some Dodge Cummins guys out there that may disagree and I give them no argument...but does Big Blue have a diesel that would compete in this market...almost universally, the answer is no...unless you want to talk about the old reliable 7.3..last produced almost 13 years ago...
In a new truck, I would likely buy a new Ram HD dually...I might consider the right deal on a GM twin but certainly like the fact that Ram has stayed away from the Bosch CP4.xx HPFP problems...even though GM is fixing them all under warranty, the new Rams are so nice, with a proven drive train, I am hesitant to take another bite of the CP4.xx apple...
So...now where do the Blue Koolaid Kings take their "blind brand loyalty" crusade????...nowhere
