Recommendations for quiet portable generator

I'll say this most gens are pretty built proof. I have a Kipor that was a few hundred $$'s less than a Honda. I don't use it on every trip and I only bought it to run a microwave which I took out soon after I bought the rig. Now I just use it to charge the battery's and I could probably get by with a 1KW. I don't have a a/c or any other power hog.

I had the board go out and I contacted Kipor and a now board was about $10.00 a Honda was $125.00. When I had the rig tested the tech told me they work on both Honda's and Generac and a board going out is common.
