Arctic Fox TTs have never been built in Indiana, nor Bend, OR. To my knowledge, they've never been built in an old Fleetwood plant either.

There is no telling what you will get. I bought a 2010 Dutchmen Lite used in December of 2013. Since then we accumulate over 15,000 miles and a total of over 160 day on the road.

The 25 ft TT weighs in at a little over 6000 lbs loaded and is a good match to my F-150.

The six year old tires will be replaced before our mid-winter trip to AZ. We have the brakes and bearings checked before each cross country trip.

I do not think is unusual, the industry has sold 300,000 TT and 5vers for several years now. A few have been duds but most are going merrily down the road.

The biggest difference in cost I have noticed at the RV shows is the level of trim. More bucks means fancier stuff. Every manufacturer is more than willing to tell you why their band is better than the others.

It is up to the buyer to choose what is important to them.

Would agree 100%. Our 2013 Camplite 21BHS has been terrific.

Me too. Less expensive, they usually have a real frame not some flimsey stamped lightweight sheet metal thing and they are easy to repair.

We really like our 21 foot Rockwood Minilite, which has a similar floor plan to what I saw for the Lance on their website. The dry weight of our trailer is about 3700 lbs, so likely close to 4500 fully loaded. We towed it for the first year with our 2011 Honda Pilot, which has the full tow package and transmission cooler, However, the Pilot strained pulling through the New England mountains -- did okay, but felt to be at its limits and could not hold the speed limit on the steeper hills. In addition, the towing mileage of 8 to 10 mpg gave us a pretty limited driving range with the 20 gallon tank. So when we planned a trip out through the Rocky Mountains, we purchased a Grand Cherokee diesel, which has worked wonderfully for this weight and length of trailer. We love the
Pilot, but felt that we were pushing its limits with a trailer the size that you are considering,

is a Pilot now rated to tow a 5,000 lb. trailer? when I was looking at them, the 5,000 figure was only for a boat. a trailer was 3500 lbs.

That sounds like what they said for the 1st Gen Ridgeline... Maybe 2nd Gen too? I never looked at those. I don't think the Pilot (until 2016) has ever been rated for 5K.

3rd gen Pilots (2012-2015) are rated to tow 4500 if they have 4wd with no exclusion for what is being towed. 4th Gen (2016-) are rated to tow 5000 if appropriately equipped (4wd and additional tranny cooler - the Honda cooler is currently in short supply and very expensive for the new 9-speed transmission), also with no exclusion.

Honda also adjusted the language about use of WD hitches to make it clearer. Yes, you can use them on both 3rd Gen and new Pilots.

I really liked the lance and quality seemed great. Front window is nice but many trailers with a front window seem to leak. Main reason why I could not buy was that it was SO LOW which I guess is a plus if pulling with a small TV but not for my needs which requires off road usage almost exclusively. They did not recommend for offroad. A beauty otherwise.

Who made your 21RBS? Camplite makes one, Couger makes one etc.
