Wait a minute - how is a "hybrid" even rated to tow anything? The vehicle is built with a small gas motor supplemented by an electrical motor to maximize gas mileage. What happens when you place a towing load on that system??
For many years we towed PUs with minivans. When we graduated to a smaller TT, we ditched the minivan for a half ton pickup truck. I would not attempt to pull even a small TT with the two vehicles listed - just my $.02.
