I've towed all over the east coast, including once a year on I-68 through MD (6 and 6.5% grades - usually come back on I-76 through PA which is definitely an easier pull), WV, as well as some out west (Black Hills and Badlands in SD, but I haven't updated my states map yet), and more... In 6 years time, I've also had a few panic stops - a couple times for deer, once for a moose (yikes!), stopping quickly for accident-related traffic, heavy traffic, and once for a large recliner that fell off a pickup ahead of me on the Schuylkill expressway (Philly). The brakes work nicely.
Due to a lapse of my own (doh!) I also once towed it for 400 miles (all day), including several stops, without the pigtail hooked up (and therefore no trailer brakes). It did seem to take a little more pressing but wasn't so obvious that I checked. (We now make double sure to check the lights! :) )
Properly setup and properly maintained, operated within it's limits and not in a hurry (all of which is good advice for any TV), the Sienna is well up to the task.
