Let me try and add some common sense here rather than competing in a peeing match that others have gotten into. Your current truck may barely squeak in being able to handle these rigs your looking at. If your ok with paying super close attention to loading and real world weights and squeaking by, then have at it. Fact of the matter is either of these two units I feel will have you on the razors edge of being good to go per se. Doable? Maybe, probably, who knows? Your ability as a driver and towing experience is a bigger factor than the truck or camper either one quite honestly. I'm of the mindset of whether a weekend warrior, or full timer, safety and a margin of error are very important. All I think some here are trying to say is your gonna be right at or just over the trucks true comfort and design limits. Though I readily admit that many here get a little carried away with it. I am also a very firm believer in the truck handling the load vs the load handling the truck. Especially in unexpected or unusual situations. And in some instances I'm afraid you will not be satisfied with the set-ups your considering. 90 percent of the time you'd probably be ok. But that rare10 percent you may be a very unhappy camper (no pun intended). Only you can decide if your ok with that and taking that chance. Absolutely no one here or anywhere else can make that decision for you. I myself would be looking for a smaller unit with the truck you have simply for my own good and the utmost safety of my family in mind. You have a fantastic and very capable truck. I drive a SRW 3500 myself. But your gonna be asking a lot of it with either rig you listed and constantly have to be extremely mindful of weights, packing, and ratings. Honestly that just doesn't sound fun to me. Take this for what it's worth. Good luck!
