tama2112 - trading from one brand SRW to another brand one ton SRW doesn't make any sense to me. As IdaD said above, the limiting factor is the rear axle weight rating. Paying thousands to get several hundred pounds capacity makes no sense to me. New vehicle would be marginal and you would still have to carefully manage trailer loads. Just because the payload capacity is higher doesn't mean you can actually use that extra payload if you don't have the rear axle capacity. I understand you don't want DRW, but the real answer is DRW or a lighter fifth wheel.
