Your light switch has gone into SFR, or, Sudden Functionality Reversal. Have you changed out your batteries recently? That can cause it.
That means the light is now on when the door is closed, and off when you open it. You can verify this by drilling a hole in the refer door and having a peek inside.
You can also check this by putting your cell phone in video recording mode and leaving it in the fridge. Don't leave it in there too long though because your cell service will slow down when it thinks it's winter. - frankdampExplorerWhen the bulb in my frig light failed, I decided to get an LED version. It didn't occur to me that the "D" stands for diode. I installed it and it didn't come on.
I called the store and they said "put it in the other way round". I did so and the light came on. - Butch50Explorer

The reason your light won't go on in the refer is that your rig is way overweight. You have exceeded all GVWR and axle ratings and your air pressure is clearly borderline. You can add all the modifications you want, but extra springs, air bags, stable loads, bigger tires etc, will not make your rig any "LIGHTER"

That is just to funny, I had to read this one to the wife and she even got a big laugh out of it. :B Thamks for the big laugh. - GMCPU53ExplorerThe reason your light won't go on in the refer is that your rig is way overweight. Joe - portscannerExplorerThe little guy that lives in the refrigerator that turns the light on and off either:
1. Quit
2. Went on strike
3. Went on vacation
See if you can bribe him to come back or get a replacement
Also check all the connections on the control board on the BACK of the refrigerator. That fixed mine one time*.
*just to be safe - disconnect all power - including battery power before messing with that. You do not want to let the magic smoke out!

Nope, someone stole the bulb when they discovered their own light wouldn't come on anymore. LOL
someone stole your batteries - bobndotExplorer IIIs there power at the bulb socket ? Corrosion on the contacts ?
Like someone said...the switch ? Check to see if power is coming out from the switch .
Isn't there a fuse somewhere ?
EX: Dometic 2612 .....There are fuses in the power modual , DC mode , Im not sure what they control.
