There are some big reasons I went with a low to the ground TT over a Fiver.
1) 2 steps and I am in the trailer
2) flat floor
3) generally lighter weight.
4) the hitch is Significantly lighter. No back breaking work to remove the WD hitch. It breaks down into manageable pieces (individual sway bars, individual WD bars, hitch head. Etc.)
5) bed access.
6) multiple TV's can tow it. A fiver requires a truck. Right now we are looking into a 3/4 ton SUV or a Van.
7) they are shorter highth
My biggest gripe with a TT was hitching. I always ended up sweaty and tired. Since I have moved to a power tongue jack all that has gone away.
Thanks
