I don't know. I like both, but for now I choose the pull-behind. I don't want a diesel truck and I certainly don't want to buy one just so I can tow a trailer a few times a year. The 5'er has more storage space which I like, but is also much more effort to fool with. I base that by watching the 5th wheelers next to me getting ready to leave as opposed to what I have to do. I've never had any problem pulling or backing a pull-behind so I don't understand how a 5'er could benefit me there. If the time ever comes that I am retired and want to travel the country for a few months with my wife, then I may get a 5th wheel for that just because of the storage and steps don't bother me - my house is full of them. Other than that I'll keep the TT and may even downsize if and when the kids move out.
