You can't do numbers 2 and 3 with a fifth wheel

4 MTBs in the truck bed out of the weather, secure and out of sight
Kayaks on top of the truck canopy
There is no way I am giving up the truck bed space, plain and simple. I am also not a big fan of the really tall 5'er configurations. My TT tracks perfectly fine to where I sometimes forget it is there. There really is no need for us to switch to a 5'er even though I have a 1 ton truck to easily accommodate the increased pin and trailer weight.
