Regret going TT over a 5th?

For our family, it comes down to how many people will ride with us and camp with us. We like to be able to handle 5 - 7 people while towing the trailer. The trailer itself has 7 very comfortable beds (6 are fixed beds/bunks).
The Excursion that we tow with is also about the biggest TV that can be parked in our garage. A 4 door pickup is too long and would have to sit outside at night. The trailer is also short enough that I can store it in a 12' height storage facility. Most 5th wheels would not work for these scenarios.
Once it is just the two of us, I would definitely consider a 5th wheel. But...I hope that day does not come soon.
