My 2011 GMC gasser has a button on the console to turn off Stabilitrack, if you hold the button for 20 secs (not sure how long), it also turns off some of the nanny control. If you do this, please be careful. You can also get aftermarket tunes that turn off the nanny control (or reduce it). I think the factory calls it torque management.

My daughters all fondly remember Dad (me) putting my foot down when we had the 2008 Yukon XL Denali with the 6.2/6sp AWD. It took off really fast and had the right exhaust note to go with it.
