Many have done just that , here is one discussion .

I didn't have the console but did remove the jump seat and built a storage box to replace it , also serves as a dog seat in my reg. cab.
I took a look...
I still don't know what to do with the radio controls the Bose speakers, woofer, etc.
It is a PIA to get from one front seat to the other I have to get out of the truck, go around the truck and re-enter the other door.
The Consol is a big as a volkswagon in between the front seats
thanks... I need pictures

Here is another thread that might help more with the Bose system .

- truckcamperonmyExplorerAny pictures or tips on rear seat removal and/or reinstall of Ford F-350 crew cabs, mine is a 2000? I would love to have two simple, smaller fold-up jumpseats to bolt back in when and if I ever need additional passenger room. Does that exist? Wasn't successful finding a solution when I searched the internet months ago. Thanks.

Our Tundra's back seat is split and folds up flush against the back rest. Plenty of room.
Likewise here, split seats and fold up against the back rest. BUT....having taken them out, I gained a whole bunch more volume in the back seat area. - Hodag1Explorerhttp://mobileduz.com/index.html

- steve68steveExplorerI took the back seats out of my F350 super cab to create dog room. I was surprised at how heavy the seats are.
The seat back is still in there for the dogs and to hide the unpainted back of the cab. It hangs from hooks and just lifts out. It seems like it wouldn't take much to make something to hang in its place.... a board with pockets on it for storage, a place to mount a shovel, guns, stuff like that. - pappawheelyExplorerI am planning to do this. I have a pop-up and a utility trailer. My plan is to mount my twin batteries in the space where the back seat is now. That way I will have my source of power with me in case I leave the camper at home and just take the trailer.
