Once this has cured I am going to run a strip of white Eternabond along the edges to afford additional protection for chaffing by the cover.
Give us a follow up report. I'll be doing the same job soon.
Is it better to put the Eternabond on before or after coating the roof?
Will provide a follow up with a couple pics.
After considering putting the Eternabond on before or after I have decided to go with after. You can coat over the Eternabond by sanding lightly and spraying on a light coat of contact cement. However for my purposes I believe applying over the top of the recoated roof has two benefits. First, I hope to get a very clean and uniform membrane across the existing room with the Liquid Roof material. Second, because I was seeing wear on the roof right at the edge I need this to be very durable. The Eternabond has a top side that is fairly stiff and slick which I think will prove more durable. I am hoping it will still look nice and clean as I am using the white Eternabond tape and my drip rail is only 3/4 of an inch down the side. I will run a continuous strip of tape along this 3/4" area and wrap it up over the top edge of the recoated roof. I will then apply Dicor lap sealant along the edges. I think this should work out pretty well. We will see.

How much weight does something like that add?
Per shipping weights it looks like 10 lbs a gallon (including container). For 28' of roof I will be applying at 60 mil thickness which is about 7 gallons. So a little less than 70 lbs total.
Thanks,
