I appreciate what you are saying, but when I have tried that I have spend literally 30min or more finding the errors in nesting all the quotes so I can get an O.K. from the forum post format rules. Also trying to pick out only those salient points to address w/o leaving out something someone can accuse one of "selectively parsing" a post to favor only your view/point has led me to forgo all that work and simply quote the whole mess and let those truely interested have the complete conversation.
I guess my excuse is one of keeping what little sanity I have left as intact at my age as possible.
