It seems to me that if LT tires were preferable in TT applications the tire company engineers, TT engineers, NHTSA and consumer groups would say so. Anecdotal stories by anonymous internet posters just aren't enough to make me declare all the engineering groups, manufacturers and government agencies of being involved in some vast conspiracy to pass off inferior products on an unsuspecting public.

Based on my anecdotal experience with LT tires I should be looking for some ST tires to put on the wife's minivan. ;)

Personally I think this is a very valid position and a critical point is the "applications" portion and re reading how hard and fast Hunting basically mistreated his TT tires w/o having any get to their second "birthday" tells me the issue wasn't the tires fault, but basically operator error in not understanding and using the product (i.e. ST tire) properly based on it stated design/performance specifications.
