For that repair, considering age and budget, here's what I'd do: Open window so that the corner is exposed. clean and sand smooth. Tape around window jamb at break, forming a nice corner. Fill with epoxy. Sand smooth. If you can't color match epoxy, you can paint with a plastic-friendly paint.
