?replace broken glass in framed crank-out window?

I use tinted Lexan to replace the translucent window in the door, have done it on every TT I've had. It's really stupid that the manufacturers put non see thru windows in the door. A clear window adds needed light, lets you can see whose knocking on your door and allows you to watch your dog to see where he's pooping when the weather is cold.
