I wouldnt go with a 12v TV. They arent made by reliable companies like the 120v TVs are.
Samsung makes good, reliable TVs.
I respectfully take exception with that premise. In fact; a 120v TV is designed to sit in a living room, not bouncing down the road in an RV. A 12 volt TV is foremost designed to work in a mobile application. They are also designed to draw less power. My 19" draws 3amps on 12vdc while watching over the air programming or a movie. (The DVD player draws 5amps on the 12vdc power source.)
Also, the very first thing 120vac goes to in a TV that is AC only is a DC power supply. Probably 12volts. My TV has both an AC cord and a DC socket to plug either a cigarette style cable to, or a 120vac power wart with 12vdc out.
