For weight alone I wouldn't go with a TV with built in DVD player. The Lance campers come with a DVD player built in, so that wasn't an issue for me. My $75 tv has held up now for almost two years. We usually take a DVD with us as part of our means for unwinding in the evening. Nothing like laying in bed, with popcorn and a movie!! (We don't have a TV at home in our bedroom to do that, so it's a treat while camping)
The TV I linked to and own has a 4 out of 5 star rating. While I do encourage buying quality stuff, I don't think you can really go wrong with something like the solid state construction of today's TV's. At least, not when you consider that it probably will only be turned on 2 or 3 hours a few times every year. Most places sell a warranty that is all inclusive. Anything goes wrong, it's covered. Walmart sells those and they are great at honoring their warranty.
