Replace porch light bulb
The outside light by my entrance door seems to have burnt out. It isn't very obvious how to get to the bulb. Does the lens just pop out? Notice the custom finger caulk job by factory professionals.

- I have a similar light, that I bumped with my wash brush. The lens popped out, and I just popped it back in.
Those factory folks sure do nice work!
Jerry - If you need to upgrade the whole porch light assy I would definitely consider using the STARLIGHT SMART LIGHT SL1000 (AMAZON).
This is a LED light with motion sensors... Comes in white or black.

Roy Ken - I don't know for sure but you might try squeezing the sides of the housing thinking that the lens might have protrusions in the top and bottom holding it in.
- Under the lens should be a place to put a flat screwdriver... Both the lights on my TT does and the lens will pop right off!
- If you do any off grid camping you might consider replacing the bulb with an LED light.
- Camping in the driveway at present while undergoing total kitchen remodel. The light is nice in the evening as that side faces the woods, and it quite dark. The motion dector idea is a good one - but who knows how hacked the wall is behind the stock fixture. If anything like the gaping hole they cut in the side ov the vanity to clear the water hose for the toilet, then I'd be stuck with it. Go THOR!

Just bought the same light still have to install it
.. PS the housing is also can be painted.- I have the same porch light as the OP, the tabs are on the top and bottom of the lens. I replaced our incandescent bulb with a brighter 120 LED for $5 and boy is it nice.
