First put butyl tape around the perimeter of the box that sits flush with your side wall.
Once the box is attached and the butyl tape squeezes out the sides, trim the excess. Let sit for a day, then check and trim again (sometimes more will squish out).
Finally apply a bead of RV approved sealant (Geocell Proflex is great) around the top and sides of the box.
Done and Done!
