Replacing stripes and possibly decal

I am new to the forum and have LOVED reading the modifications. We have a 2005 Dutchman Adirondack TT that apparently has had a lot of sun exposure. The front and sides stripes and 1 decal are very faded and some are cracked.

Is it possible to ?paint them? replace them? where to start? I could live with the faded decal, but would really like to fix the burgundy, gray and black stripes.

This is a case where the inside of the camper was spotless but outside needs some TLC.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!
  • Design your own , or the sign makers can do it. Why spend money to advertise the trailer manufacturer , come up with something thats a bit different that looks good .
  • DIY. Use an 3m eraser wheel to remove the old decals and cut new ones your self using bulk materal. Super easy.
  • Contact Christa @ dramdesigns.com They can do anything. And they use material that will last
  • I'm one of those do-it-yourself-types. Only I have a 2000 34 foot motorhome. The vinyl graffic where really bad. So instead of replacing them, I totally removed them, and the glue residue, took some time, but wasn't all that hard. Then with a friend why restored cars showed my how to spray paint using auto 2 step paint method. Paint is the expensive part. Already own an air compressor, bought the spray guns from Harbor Freight, (Cheap). I think it turned very well.

This is the route I usually take. I order the decals at my local RV dealer and he arranges for a third party sign shop to come out and install them.
  • Have a local sign shop replace them. Maybe before they install the new decals, detail the exterior.
  • Strip and paint would be permanent but expensive. Decals are cheaper and a mobile shop can do it at your house.
