Replacing swelled cabinet pieces

I have some wooden cabinets that are swollen from leaks that have gotten into the camper. I am getting the roof repaired to prevent all future leaks, but I do want to try to fixed the wooden warping. Does anyone know of a place where I can get pieces to repair vanities and other such things?
  • Its probable MDF if it swollen. If its just the doors they can be ordered from the dealer. If its the cabinet, find a local cabinet shop they should be able to make it easily.
  • I have the same issue. I was wondering if we could just remake it from the one that is already there?
  • maybe if you posted year/make/model of hybrid, someone who owns the same brand might be able to help.
  • Depending on the severity you may want to check into replacing the door fronts. If that's possible on an RV.
  • I'd be surprised if you can do a repair without replacing the pieces of wood that are damaged. The face frames may be oak or maple and the sides likely are luan plywood. If you're handy at woodworking you should be able to rebuild the effected cabinets, otherwise, you're probably looking at complete replacements. If there is just an area that's got watermarks, a good light sanding and restaining may fix that and then seal with a good polyurethane. Good luck, this is not an easy fix.
