replacing window shades with mini-blinds in hybrid trailer

Our window shades have been a problem almost from the start. First the tension cords do not work, tried to fix, then the screw came out from bracket holding shade at top. Would like to replace with mini-blinds like small blind in kitchen window. Has anyone done this?

    I hate the mini blinds that came in our hybrid. Been thinking about replacing with thick curtain material that I could slide on a rod.

    The OEM blinds (probably cheap) are a pain to raise and lower.

    Wally world sells cheap blinds, around $4.00, that can be cut down.

    What exactly did you buy at Home Depot and which window blinds were you replacing? I'm tying to figure out an inexpensive way to replace our 3 and all 3 windows measure 44x24, I believe.

    Yes I did... One of our best mods. Just bought the cheap mini’s at Home Depot and cut them to fit. It’s a little time consuming but well worth the work.

    Can't say that I have but I don't see how it would be an issue as long as you can find the correct size.
