Right and Left sway control a myth?
Soooooooo.......just got off the phone with the " sway control experts " Etrailer.com. I've wondered and also because I need to purchase one , why people are telling me there is a right and left sway ...

My tow connection has one sway control and I set it for contact plus turn to snug plus a little. I have not had a problem with this but have met others that really tighten the friction. Any substantiated recommendations? Periodically I take the unit apart and give it a slight polish with medium emery cloth. Why? Because it just makes me feel good, the two surfaces have been sliding for innumerable passes and may not have the friction when new.
