Regardless of what others say, it is NOT normal. Even though you don't believe you have a leak, I would be willing to bet if you were to climb a ladder and inspect the joint at the front cap and roof, you would indeed find a leak. It could very well be a tiny crack in the joint sealant or very small hole that allows enough water to seep in between the front cap bonded layers. I inspect my roof about once every 3 months and I have caught and repaired a number of tiny holes in the joint sealant with Dicor Lap sealant. There does not have to be water dripping inside the unit for there to be a leak that can cause damage.
