I had wonderful luck with my truck insurance, State farm. I broke down 100 miles or so from the nearest city on the Alcan. They towed me into town I paid for it but as soon as I submitted the bill it was paid, over $600 dollars. I hardly pay anything for the tow insurance. About the only complaint I have is the Tow truck driver didn't believe me when I said it was a truck with a 3500 lbs camper and so he came in a roll back truck. The first thing I asked is "we don't have any bridges to go under?" My height is just short of 12 ft and that roll back set at between 4 and 5 ft higher. Then after we got going we could only go 40-45 MPH as every dip would lift the truck off the ground. I wish tow truck drivers would believe me about the size of my rig.
