Hello tmartin000,
Thank you for your post, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with Good Sam. Can you please send a private message with your contact information and membership number so that we can follow-up with you directly.
Thanks,
David
I called on at least three attempts to be removed from your mailing lists. (while being a member)
---I didn't want RV insurance, no matter how many times I called to NOT receive any further mailings.
---I didn't want to buy MORE than 3 years of coverage, despite having a minimum of two years remaining on my current policy.
---I didn't want RV warranty coverages
I was so tired of the near WEEKLY advertisements, it was maddening!
The last call I made to request ZERO ad's, the young lady said, although we currently removed you from our list, we cannot stop the "roto" ads.
Another week went by and AGAIN more garbage in the mail. I called back and FINALLY when I cancelled my remaining YEARS of coverage, I was finally pushed up the ladder and got to speak to a gentleman "supervisor". When I told him my reason for terminating the membership (too many dang ads, ads, ads, ads, ads, ads, ads....he said, "gosh, we can take care of that right now.". I told him that after 9 years of membership, I was done with Good Sam and their ads. If that's the way they deal with customers REPEATED attempts to stop the incessant advertising, I really felt lied to.
Within a month, ZERO ZERO ZERO ads. Funny.
So, Thank you for your concerned response. But I will decline your assistance, since I haven't been a member for two years now. If you want to be lumped into lousy kinship with Cable/sat tv, New car dealers, and Political ads, then you will get the same treatment from me that I've given them. I have canceled Sat TV, Cable TV, and called dealers to be removed from their lists as well.
I have been a member of https://coach-net.com for almost two years now. No ads, no hassles, and a super nice person on the phone when I've spoken with them. No "roto" ads.
