Rocker Switch Replacement

Hi folks,

I'm looking to replace the rocker switches in my Alumascape, mainly for my interior living room lights. The stock rockers seem to wear quickly and get pretty tight. I found a few options at Radio Shack that will snap in and fit but not sure about the tech specs. What amp rating I should be looking for? Is there a brand better then the others?

Thanks for the help guys!

  • I'm guessing you are talking about the rockers in each light. I had the same problem. I got replacements at the local RV dealer. Different color. But the black switch looks really good in the white fixture. Cost around $2.50
  • Seeing as majority of the dc fuses in dist panel will be 15A and 20A no need for anything higher unless rocker switch is for a high amp draw item......slides etc.
  • pull the one you have from the wall and mark you wires to make sure you rewire it properly and go to a good rv store to get a replacement.
