On the way home, a side panel fell off. Heard a scraping noise just as WLToo yelled to pull over. Luckily, it was a smooth, level road with a very wide shoulder. He had to get out the tools to finish removing the panel, which was still attached with only one screw. The other two had stripped out of the panel screw holes. Placed it inside and came on home with no further damages.
Steinholz is now back at the dealer for all that warranty work. We're supposed to have him back by 9 May.
I do hope augustpilot doesn't suffer the same issues when he picks up his 2906 this month.
