I am tackling a similar project on our HTT. Luckily you have the aluminum cross beams. In mine its only on the perimeter so I had to build new floor panels with some support added. We used steel framing studs from Home Depot to keep the weight down.
We have the tarp like bottom in ours as well, which is in a great shape still actually.
I should probably take pictures of mine as we go along to share with people here for future reference.
