I've found Rockwoods warranty support to be less than ideal. Without getting long winded i'll just say good luck if you need any type of warranty work, even with a top notch dealer involved. Be prepared to wait forever for approvals and parts. Just to be clear, I'm not talking simple cosmetic issues but things such as fresh water tanks that fall out and torsion axles over 1" out of alignment for starters.

I have learned my lesson. Caveat Emptor.

Are we the lucky ones or what......we're on our third hybrid and we never needed support after sale.
Cosmetic problems I can fix.....We never had any other problems with our Hybrids (Travelstar, Palomino, and now a Roo)

I am reading a lot of posts about Forest River products being either shoddy or dealer/manufacturer support being less then desirable. I should have paid attention to whether or not its the same person/people doing the ranting. Way too many topics to go back and rehash though.

The Flagstaff Shamrock is the twin of the Rockwood Roo.

RVDirect is in your area and sells both brands.
They, along with RVW, pretty much started the online RV sales model.

Watching some of the videos online it seems the Rockwoods in general are more well thought out. I like the expansive aluminum framing you can see when you get a glimpse of the storage compartments. Might have to swing by the Rockwood dealer next year when we start shopping in earnest.

Both companies have great hybrid. We chose the Roo 23ws because of the private room in the back. No one makes an hybrid similar to the 23ws.

As for guarantees, we never took an extended one, because of where we live. In Maine, our camping season is five months a year at the most. For seven months, the camper is sleeping under its blanket. So for us, it is pointless to take an extended guarantee since our hybrid doesn't move for a good part of the year.

Hi I'd go with rockwood/flagstaff hybrids Over Jayco Jayco for years sells the 23b and we have attacked that line.

For pups it's old Jayco Jay series over any year forest fiver pup. Those days for Jayco pups are history now.
