My wife and I both grew up on route 66 (1 mile from each other) and after we married we always said we would follow the mother road. 4 yrs ago we finally fulfilled that item on our bucket list. Took us a month and a half but worth every minute. Great scenery, adventures, people, restaurants and memorabilia! If one has the opportunity to do so, do it, you won't regret it.
