Rubber vs Solid Roof
the roof on our tt is a solid fibreglass material, previous tt was a rubber material pros and cons?

Not at all, any competent boat shop can fix a fiberglass roof. Heck, as a DIYr I can fix a fiberglass crack or hole without much trouble, only a major structural compromise would be difficult but that would be hard regardless of composition.
