Rusty Rims

My TT is an 2005 and overall good shape. The standard 15" white steal rims are starting to rust and make the trailer look older then it is.

Are there any plastic hub caps that will hide it? I don't want to paint them (too much effort removing rust).

Here on the West Coast we have Les Schwab tire centers that will strip and powder coat both sides of a wheel for $25 /wheel. They have multiple colors (incl white) and the finish is shiny and much more durable than the original paint.
I had four rusty wheels for a vintage car redone and they look great.
Maybe you could find someplace in your area to do the same.
Man, that is cheap for powder coating rims. I wish we had LS around here.

It's so cheap that I just didn't believe them until I picked the old wheels back up.
49 y/o rusty rims looked like new!

Doesn't get much better than that, low price and quality!

FWIW, my pal, Denny, built a new powder coating setup for the family body shop. He did a few rims and they turned out beautiful. I was kind of banking some work from him for my BMW rims so didn't want to ask about the trailer rims, lol.
Like Charlie posted, some wire brushing, a rust treatment prep, and painting usually meets my criteria for trailers.
