Rv antifreeze
I winterized with super tech rv and marine intifreeze in early oct. And today went out to camper just to check on it and noticed the little bit of antifreeze that was left in the toilet like instructi...

Umm.. You can do the same with water.
As long as the water has a place to go as it expands it will not damage said container.
Case in point is good old manual ice cube trays which with sides that slope and no top the ice is free to push its way UP the tray mold until completely frozen.
A open bucket if not filled to the top, has sloping sides and no tight lid can survive ice..
Water lines or any place that there is not enough space for the expansion is where you run into problems.. and hence the reason to remove the water (blow out the lines with air)and or replace the water with something that has very little freezing expansion..
