forest River? good luck with them.
This comment does not reflect most problems that I have read on this forum ! On the Forest River forum (on which I am a member) I have read time and again where they have fixed things long past warranty !
I agree. I'm a member on that forum also and they seem to be a great company and have been great to deal with in my experience. I've never had to call them about a major problem with my trailer because I've never had a problem with anything but a bathroom shower knob after 3 years and well over 1,000 showers in it and then everyone I talked to was friendly and more than willing to help. The parts guy looked up the number of the part I needed and they shipped it to me with in the week. And the cost was only $10.00 bucks. I also called them in the past about ordering storm windows for my trailer and the parts guy went to a lot of trouble running down a manager to get the info on the windows and see if they could be sold and installed by the customer. The manager returned my call with in the hour to give me the information I needed and that I could purchase them. I also called them one time when my trailer was new to see where a phone outlet was at on my trailer that I couldn't find. The guy in engineering looked it up and I was embarrassed at how many times I had looked all over that bedroom looking for that thing and it was right there under my nose where he told me it was on the side of the wardrobe below an electrical outlet. He didn't call me a big dummy or anything or at least not until I hung up the phone. :D
