Picked up my new trailer today equipped with a new Reese SC hitch. Got her home, and OMG!!! The safety chain hooks were almost impossible to get off. I drive an F150, and the damn clevis hooks bare...

The easiest thing to do is replace the hooks.
I like the grab hooks so I rounded the tips a bit so they slip on easier.
