I just made them and used them for the first time these past 3 weeks in Florida... We had very heavy rain almost every day with NO puddles on the topper !
s you can see, mine did get a sag, which I saw when I removed them the day we left. I plan on cutting the bar in the middle and adding a "T" with an additional support.. I also used screws, and did not glue them together,,, ask me why ?? I had no glue handy ! !
Since getting the automatic awnings, the bars were getting neglected :-)
