We have no TC dealers in Alabama as far as I know(some dealers will order one for you)so I've looked outside the state. Last fall a Tennessee dealer offered me a Lance 1050S for almost 9K off the sticker. He had comparable prices on other models. A Michigan dealer offered us about as good a deal on an AF.
We decide on an AF because of the full wall slide and the wife didn't like the step recess inside the door on the Lances. We also liked the extra floor width (8 inches) that the AFs had. I think the Lances had that too. We looked at so many online and when passing TC dealers, all the features became a blur.
We looked at Palomino/RealLite, even visited the factory. They didn't have the attention to detail that I require.
The Lances and AFs I've looked at compare well in quality. So it boils down to price, dealer personality, and features that your wife likes best. Good luck.
