Seeking advice on towing to Show Low, AZ, from Tucson

There's no big problem along 77, with the Gila River or anything else. 79 is flatter, though.
But there's no good way to avoid the Salt River canyon -- unless you go all the way north to Flagstaff, across 40 and back south at Holbrook.
